2.5 Artboard templates
Let’s speed things up! In this lesson, you’ll learn all about Artboard Templates and how they can help you speed up the tasks you repeat every day.
Key learnings
You can turn any Artboard and its content into a template that you can reuse across your documents. This includes other components like Symbols or Color Variables as well as shapes, grid and layout settings, and any other element you want.
To create an Artboard template, select an Artboard, head to the Inspector and select the option to use it as a template.
Use the Insert Window (press C) and drag and drop your Artboard template onto the Canvas.

How do you duplicate a document?
To duplicate a document to your Workspace, click on
in the top bar
and choose Duplicate to My Drafts. Have fun!
